Spaghetti with Sausage and Tomatoes

I mean the name says it all. But this dish still makes it onto the list. Easy to execute and full of flavour, perfect for a week night dinner.


1 lb spaghetti
3 onions, chopped
1 lb mushrooms, chopped
3 cups canned tomatoes
1 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1 lb Italian sausage (Hot or Sweet to preference), chopped
4 black olives, chopped


  1. Sautee sausage with onions until fully browned.
  2. Add mushrooms and tomatoes and cook down for about 20 minutes.
  3. Cook pasta in boiling salted water. Drain.
  4. Add olives to sauce. Mix everything together in a baking dish and bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes.
